Start Your Own Business Workshop



14 people have become self employed and progressed onto the BTWEA or STEA scheme this year. Projects have varied from cleaning to Renewable energy. 55 individuals to date have expressed an interest in self employment and are currently undertaking Start Your Own Business Training and Business Plan Development. Enterprise Officers Elaine McGrath and Iris O'Callaghan delivered a Start Your Own Business Workshop to 9 prisoners resident in Loughan House Prison and a number of these men expressed an interest in running their own business upon release.
