Cavan is becoming Biodiversity Aware!

'Introduction to Biodiversity' visit's wild meadow in Killeshandra

Breffni Integrated CLG have announced details of a series of further two separate ‘Introduction to Biodiversity’ training programmes to be delivered over the autumn/winter of 2019. The aim of this programme is to enable participants to apply learning in to protecting and enhancing biodiversity in their local area.

This follows on from two successful 'Introduction to Biodiversity' training programmes delivered early this year in Killeshandra and Virginia. Both programmes were oversubscribed and feedback from all participants has been positive with a number of individuals and groups progressing on to submitting applications for LEADER funding support.

This training provides an opportunity for communities to acquire knowledge from qualified ecologists and other local experts on actions which can be undertaken to conserve and protect our natural environments. To register your interest please fully complete the following short questionnaire to help us identify your training needs: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CavanBio
