Preventative Support Workshops

SICAP Development Officers Hazel Leahy and Lorraine Mc Teigue rolled out Mid Term Workshops in the Bexcourt Centre, Bailieborough, and Cavan Town. A total of 45 children attended our workshop in Bailieborough on 21/03/2019, while 9 children attended our workshop in Cavan Town on 22/03/2019. The Cavan Town Workshop was targeted at the Congolese Youth. Our workshops are focused on educational and developmental support. These workshops are targeted at children aged 5-11 years old, and are free subject to certain criteria. The Mid Term Workshops were focused on Arts and Crafts, Media, Journalism, Nature and Personal Development.

 
 

The Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) is co-funded by the Irish Government, through the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, and the European Social Fund Plus under the Employment, Inclusion, Skills and Training (EIST) Programme 2021 -2027.
