A Fantastic Family Day at Ballyconnell Community Centre!

What a wonderful day we had at the Ballyconnell Community Centre! Over 120 children joined this free event — playing games, colouring and designing their very own tote bags, enjoying face painting, candyfloss, popcorn, and more.

This fantastic Family Day was organised by Olga O'Dowd and funded by Cavan County Local Development and the Ukrainian Community, who, along with her amazing team, worked tirelessly decorating, setting up, and keeping the fun going all day long.

A big thank you to everyone who supported the raffle, which raised an incredible €220 — all of which has been donated to the Ballyconnell Community Centre Heat Fund.

Events like this show the true spirit of community — bringing families together, celebrating creativity, and supporting local spaces that bring us all closer.
