Cavan County Local Development Seeking Meals on Wheels Drivers in Co. Cavan

Cavan County Local Development is currently recruiting reliable and community-focused Meals on Wheels drivers to join its expanding team serving communities across County Cavan.


This rewarding role offers an opportunity to support elderly and vulnerable members of the community by ensuring they receive meals safely, respectfully, and on time.



About the Role


Successful applicants will be responsible for delivering cold meals to clients throughout Co. Cavan on:

  • Tuesdays

  • Wednesdays

  • Thursdays


Working hours are from 9:00am to 4:00pm, totaling 21 hours per week.


Drivers will also be expected to:

  • Provide a warm, courteous, and respectful service

  • Ensure meals are delivered safely and punctually

  • Complete basic delivery records



Requirements


Applicants should have:

  • A full, clean driving licence

  • Good communication skills

  • A caring and community-focused attitude

  • Reliability and punctuality


Gross salary: € 20 400

  • The position is subject to Garda Vetting

  • A vehicle will be provided
