Honouring Employers Championing Accessibility and Opportunity Across Leitrim

Laura Caslin from our WorkAbility Cavan programme at CCLD was delighted to attend the inaugural Employer Awards Evening hosted by Leitrim Development Company and WorkAbility Leitrim, held in the fabulous setting of Drumhierney last night. The event celebrated employers, organisations and community groups championing inclusive employment and accessibility across County Leitrim under the theme “Working Together for an Inclusive Leitrim.”
It was fantastic to connect with employers leading the way in inclusive workplaces, including Cavan employers LakelandDairies and FarnhamEstate. A special mention to Regina Canning from FarnhamEstate, who spoke passionately about their inclusive work strategies and the importance of creating opportunities for all.
The evening’s guest speaker, Dr Mei Lin Yap, delivered an incredibly insightful and powerful address on disability and employment, receiving a standing ovation from attendees for her inspiring message on inclusion, opportunity and workplace accessibility.
