Aero Heaven Glamping – Turning a Rural Tourism Vision into Reality
As part of Cavan County Local Development’s 30th anniversary celebrations, we are highlighting the positive impact of the LEADER programme on rural businesses and communities across County Cavan.
In this latest video, we meet Fiona Masterson of Aero Heaven Glamping in Killeshandra, a unique rural tourism enterprise supported through the 2023–2027 LEADER Rural Development Programme.
LEADER support contributed to the development of the business’s tourism accommodation facilities, including its distinctive Aeropods, hot tubs and associated facilities.
In the video, Fiona shares their experience of working with CCLD and the Cavan LEADER their team, including the support they received, their experience of the LEADER application process and the benefits the project has brought to their business and the local area.
Aero Heaven Glamping demonstrates how investment in rural enterprise can help create new tourism opportunities, strengthen the local economy and encourage visitors to discover what Killeshandra and County Cavan have to offer.
