Today, Cavan County Local Development Communications Officer Tinko Tinev attended the National Local Development Companies Network Communications in Practice meeting in Mullingar.

The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to connect with communications professionals and community development colleagues from across the country, sharing ideas, experiences, and best practices on strengthening communication strategies and community engagement initiatives.

Discussions focused on the importance of collaboration, storytelling, and effective public engagement in supporting communities and highlighting the positive impact of local development work throughout Ireland.

The gathering also allowed participants to work together in planning upcoming collaborative events featured in the 2026 calendar of LDCN.ie, helping to strengthen partnerships and promote shared initiatives nationwide.

We are delighted to continue building strong relationships with fellow organisations committed to empowering communities and creating positive social impact.
