Volunteer English Tutors Needed in Kingscourt and Cavan

Community Connecting for Lifelong Development (CCLD) is delighted to share new volunteering opportunities for English tutors, responding to growing demand from learners in our community.


We are currently looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to support adult English language learners in Kingscourt and Cavan. These roles are rewarding, social, and make a real difference to people’s confidence and everyday life.



Volunteer English Tutors – Kingscourt


Due to increased demand in Kingscourt, we are seeking volunteer English tutors to support learners of all levels. You will be part of a welcoming and supportive environment where learners can build skills at their own pace.


When:

  • Wednesday mornings (term time)

  • 10:00am – 12:00pm


What to expect:

  • Supporting small-group English classes

  • A relaxed and encouraging learning atmosphere

  • Full training provided – no teaching experience required




Walk & Talk English – Con Smith Park, Cavan


We are also restarting our popular Walk & Talk English sessions, and we’re looking for volunteers to help learners practise conversational English while enjoying the outdoors.


When:

  • Tuesdays at 6:30pm


Where:

  • Con Smith Park, Cavan


This is a great opportunity to connect with others, support language learning in a natural setting, and enjoy some fresh air while building community connections.
