This year marks a significant milestone for Cavan County Local Development (CCLD) as the organisation celebrates 30 years of supporting communities throughout County Cavan.
Over the past three decades, CCLD has worked with individuals, families, community groups and local organisations, helping to strengthen communities and create opportunities across the county.
As part of its 30th anniversary celebrations, CCLD is recognising the dedication and contribution of its staff, past and present. Today, the organisation's team delivers more than 20 projects and initiatives that support community development, social inclusion, employment, lifelong learning and rural development across County Cavan.
Among those being celebrated is Owen McConnon, whose extensive knowledge and experience have been a valuable addition to the CCLD team. His contribution reflects the professionalism and commitment that continue to drive the organisation's work.
The official 30th Anniversary Celebration will take place on 29 September at the Cavan Crystal Hotel, beginning at 9.30am.
The event will provide an opportunity to reflect on three decades of achievement, acknowledge the people who have contributed to CCLD's success, and celebrate the positive impact of community-led development across County Cavan.
As CCLD looks to the future, the organisation remains committed to supporting stronger, more inclusive and vibrant communities throughout the county.
