READY+ Erasmus+ Project Launches in Cavan

Cavan County Local Development (CCLD) is delighted to announce the launch of READY+, an Erasmus+ project supporting young adults aged 18 to 30 from disadvantaged communities to develop digital and employability skills.

READY+ aims to create new opportunities for young people who may face barriers to employment, education or training. Through practical activities and digital education tools, participants will develop skills that can help them prepare for employment and take positive steps towards the local labour market.

The project will focus on strengthening key skills including digital competence, communication, confidence, autonomy and workplace readiness, while providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

READY+ also brings a European dimension to local skills development, connecting Cavan with partners in France and sharing approaches to adult learning, social inclusion and employment. The project application plans a pilot involving approximately 40 participants across Ireland and France.
