Strengthening Inclusive Employment: CCLD at the WorkAbility National Meeting in Athlone

Lorraine and Laura represented Cavan County Local Development (CCLD) today at the WorkAbility National Meeting in Athlone — a key national event bringing together organisations from across Ireland committed to advancing supported employment and inclusion for people with disabilities.

The day featured insightful discussions on the five stages of supported employment, sharing best practices and models that help individuals with disabilities find and sustain meaningful work. Sessions also explored Ireland’s National Human Rights Strategy for Disabled People, emphasising how local and national initiatives can align to create truly inclusive workplaces.
